Bob Berman was elected to the Board of Supervisors in October 2025. 

Bob Berman has been actively involved with South Indian River Water Control District since 1979, including service as a supervisor from 1999 to 2010. He directed the completion of Palm Beach Country Estates in the 1980s and served as the developer of Egret Landing 1990s. Through affiliated firms – Palm Beach Country Estates Realty, Jupiter Farms Realty, and Egret Landing Realty – he has overseen the sale of more than 6,000 properties within the District area and played a key role in bringing paved public roads and potable water to Palm Beach Country Estates. He also served on another local water control district board for over 20 years.

Mr. Berman owns Berman Realty, a family enterprise founded in 1964 by his parents and now includes wife Joanne, brother Jim, son Brian, daughter Stacy, and son-in-law Paul. He is a past president of both the local REALTORS Association and the MLS service. A state-certified general contractor, he has owned and operated businesses in construction, mortgage lending, insurance, title insurance, and securities sales since 1971.

The Berman family donated the land for the Margaret Berman Memorial Park in Palm Beach Country Estates and has provided funding to support the park’s development and activities.

Bob and Joanne live in the house he built in Palm Beach Country Estates in 1980. Mr. Berman is a licensed commercial pilot and former flight instructor, and he is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His interests include golf and racquetball, and he is a five-time national division champion in Sports Car Club of America formula racing.
