By Florida State Statute, we are required to have two years’ worth of meeting agendas and minutes on our website. Minutes for meetings are posted once they are reviewed and accepted by the board.

If Landowners need agendas and minutes from previous years, please contact the District office at sirwcd@sirwcd.org or call (561) 747-0550.

District landowners are welcome to attend monthly meetings, as well as the Annual Landowners Meeting in September each year. Public Hearings are held for the Annual Budget in August and for any landowner-initiated capital improvement project referenda.

Landowners are encouraged to reach out to the District prior to Board meetings to obtain factual information (and not community social media posts) about topics that are germane to the authority of the Board (flood protection) and public comments can address issues within their purview.

The Board meetings are also held via audio/video conferencing on Zoom. Please check the District News Highlights at the bottom of each page for a Zoom registration link once it is posted. During the meeting everyone will be muted and video turned off. Landowners are requested to provide comments and requests to speak prior to the meeting via email at sirwcd@sirwcd.org. The comments will be heard during the Landowners’ Items, and you will be allowed 3 minutes on each item of the agenda you wish to speak about. Please contact the District Office if you have any questions about the meeting.

Notice is given that if a person decides to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered at a meeting, a record of the proceedings will be needed for such purpose, and said person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and evidence upon which any appeal is to be made.

Pursuant to the provision of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in the Board of Supervisors meetings and the Annual Landowners Meeting should contact the District at 561-747-0550.
