2026 Board of Supervisors Election

Notice Of Time Period In Which Any Landowner Can Request His Or Her Name To Appear On The Official Ballot For Election Of Supervisors For The South Indian River Water Control District

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that any landowner within South Indian River Water Control District who wishes his or her name to appear on the Official Ballot for Election of Supervisors for the South Indian River Water Control District should send written notification to the District's Office at 15600 Jupiter Farms Road, Jupiter, Florida 33478.  One (1) Supervisor will be elected for a term of three (3) years.

The Supervisor to be elected at this time may not reside in the District, but must own land in the District and reside in Palm Beach County.

Notification must be sent to Jennifer Hammond prior to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026.  Each candidate may submit a short informational paragraph which will be provided to the landowners. An Oath of Candidate must also be submitted which can be requested from the District Office. The Annual Landowners Meeting is scheduled for September 17, 2026, immediately following the Board of Supervisors monthly meeting which is scheduled for 6:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Stephen A. Hinkle Work Center at 15600 Jupiter Farms Rd, Jupiter, FL 33478.
