Annual Landowners Meeting 2025 Annual Landowners’ Meeting and Election of Supervisors

The Annual Landowners’ Meeting of the South Indian River Water Control District was held on September 18, 2025, immediately following the monthly Board of Supervisors meeting at the Stephen J. Hinkle Work Center at 15600 Jupiter Farms Road, Jupiter, Florida, as well as though Zoom video conference.

This year’s Annual Landowners’ Meeting was for the purpose of:

  1. Electing two (2) Supervisors for a term of three (3) years. At least one of the Supervisors to be elected must reside east of the C-18 Canal. Candidates must own land in the District and must be residents of Palm Beach County.
  2. Receiving annual reports and taking such action with respect thereto as the landowners may determine.
  3. Setting compensation for the Board of Supervisors.
  4. Transacting any other business as may properly come before the meeting.

Any interested Landowner may examine the ballots under the supervision of the Supervisor of Elections. Any objection to the election must be filed in writing by a Landowner with the Board of Supervisors no later than one (1) week from the date of the election. If a person decides to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered, a record of the proceedings will be needed for such purpose, and said person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and

For landowners presenting multiple proxies, the District requests that a summary list of all properties and the aggregate acreage of those proxies be provided as a separate document or spreadsheet to facilitate processing at the meeting.
