Annual Landowners Meeting Meeting

The 2024 Annual Landowners’ Meeting was held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Stephen J. Hinkle District Work Center, as well as though Zoom video/audio conferencing. The monthly Board Meeting will be held immediately prior to the Annual Meeting at 6:00 p.m.

The 2024 Annual Landowners’ Meeting was for the purpose of:

  1. Electing two (2) Supervisors for a term of three (3) years. At least one of the Supervisors to be elected must reside in the District. Candidates must own land in the District and must be residents of Palm Beach County.
  2. Receiving annual reports and taking such action with respect thereto as the landowners may determine.
  3. Setting compensation for the Board of Supervisors.
  4. Transacting any other business as may properly come before the meeting.

Any interested Landowner may examine the ballots under the supervision of the Supervisor of Elections. Any objection to the election must be filed in writing by a Landowner with the Board of Supervisors no later than one (1) week from the date of the election.

If a person decides to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered, a record of the proceedings will be needed for such purpose, and said person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and evidence upon which any appeal is to be based.
